Meet Kat, and learn the story behind the Project.

Pelvic Floor Foundations isn't just a mentoring program –it's a movement. Here's the story behind the passion, the purpose, and Kat’s fierce commitment to changing women's health for good.

Kat Warr isn’t just a physiotherapist — she’s a mentor, business owner, trailblazer, and a mum of three who knows firsthand what it means to balance career, passion, and family. After more than a decade shaping women's health and building one of South Australia's leading pelvic health clinics, Kat launched Pelvic Floor Foundations to offer mentoring that fuels not just clinical skill, but the courage to drive meaningful change. Her mission is simple — to lift the next generation of physios higher, faster, and sharper than ever before.

Early in her career, Kat was fortunate to cross paths with patient, knowledgeable, and generous mentors, the kind who took the time to shape not just her skills, but her thinking. Their impact didn’t just guide her, it lit a fire she now carries forward through Pelvic Floor Foundations: a bold project built to repay that gift and raise the standard of care for women everywhere.

Kat’s influence runs deep, having mentored hundreds of junior women’s health physiotherapists through both Women’s Health Training Associates (WHTA) and the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) pathways. As a current tutor for WHTA, she leads in two notoriously under-taught but critical areas: pelvic pain and pessaries. She's also a tutor and lecturer across the APA’s Level 1 & 2 Women's Pelvic Health and Women Through the Life Stages courses, delivering face-to-face education that builds true clinical excellence — not just textbook knowledge.

But Kat’s mentoring isn't about ticking boxes or teaching techniques. It’s about developing clinicians who think critically, treat holistically, and lead with empathy. She weaves the latest research with real-world clinical insight, ensuring her mentees walk away not just smarter, but sharper, braver, and ready to drive real, lasting change in women’s health.
